This piece focuses on drunk driving. As an installation piece the background and setting are as important as the sculpture itself. The piece is a life-sized packing tape sculpture with a beer bottle for a hand getting into a car. The packing tape was difficult to use because it is so easily dented and morphed after the man was finished. It was hard to preserve the body once I finished assembling it.
I really like the second image. The beer bottle is the focus, and I love that the figure is straight but the background is tipping. Excellent job!
