#12 Principles • Balance A Balance of form is shown in the V shaped lip to the rounded mid-section • Rhythm The rhythm on the surface of the piece created by the cracks made during firing This piece exploring the principles of Balance and Rhythm uses form (obviously) but also the elements of Line and Texture in the cracks on the surface of the pot as well as color through the use of multiple glazes. This pot also investigates ceramics in a new way through Raku firing using a Raku clay instead of white clay
A wonderful glaze! By the end of the portfolio, you are creating ceramic pieces that show a much stronger sense of confidence and greater investigation into the process.
