#5 Principles • Occupied/ Unoccupied Space This piece explores occupied and unoccupied space by actually creating a bowl inside of a bowl and still being one connected piece. The elements of space by using the space inside one bowl for another bowl as well as texture and color through the burnt glass; The piece is an interesting addition to my breadth not only because it explores Unoccupied Space but also because it’s a functional piece and shows my investigation of glass melting.
